A disc is stuck inside. What should I do?
Do not force it out with tools, which can scratch the disc and damage the mechanism. Switch the console off and bring it in as it is.
Can you just swap in a new drive?
Not on most modern consoles. The drive is paired to the main board, so a straight swap will not play games. Repairing the original drive avoids that.
How long does it take?
